Translators
We are actively seeking translators, especially for the following project(s):
- Aozora Pop – Japanese translators
- Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu – Japanese translators
- If you are interested in a project not listed here or a future project, please apply and we’ll make arrangements.
Once your application is received you will be administered a translation test for the language you are applying for, which will be expected back in a timely matter (<12 days). If for some reason you are unable to complete the test by this deadline, contact me or specify why in the, other information part of your application.
Photoshop Editors
We are currently seeking editors. All experience is welcome to apply, but we would prefer if you have prior experience.
- Must have an editing program (such as Photoshop or Gimp). Photoshop versions 7 and up is preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in your main editing program.
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to edit at least one chapter per two weeks pace.
Once your application is received you will be administered an editing test which will be expected back in a timely matter (<12 days). If you have a preferred project to work on, please mention it when applying. If for some reason you are unable to complete the test by this deadline, contact me or specify why in the, other information part of your application.
Proofreaders - [CLOSED]
Enchantment Scans is currently not looking for proofreaders. If however, you feel that your proofreading skill is superb and we cannot live without your awesome grammar correcting power, feel free to apply anyways. However please note, experience is necessary.
Quality Checkers
- Must have prior Photoshop manga-editing experience; must be knowledgeable in your main editing program.
- Must have an editing program (such as Photoshop or Gimp). Photoshop versions 7 and up is preferred.
- Proofreading experience is preferred but not required. However, candidate must have keen eye for spelling and grammar.
- If applying for a specific project, must be well-acquainted with the characters and able to look up “flashback” text for consistency.
Once your application is received you will be administered a QC test which will be expected back in a timely matter (<12 days). If for some reason you are unable to complete the test by this deadline, contact me or specify why in the, other information part of your application.
Scanners
- Provide us Japanese or Chinese RAW scans.
- Quality RAWs of at least 900px width per single page, as flat as possible, at least 300dpi.
- Currently looking for RAW in the following series:
- Aozora Pop [tanks only!] (Chinese or Japanese RAW) – volumes 3 and up
- Yamamoto Zenjiorou [tanks only!] (Chinese or Japanese RAW) – volumes 3 and up
- New Projects (Chinese or Japanese RAW)
No experience necessary; if you are interested, please send us a list of raws (separately by email) that you can scan for us (summary and pictures of each are not necessary but HIGHLY recommended). Also, please give us an idea of what your scanning schedule is like. ^^ Thank you!
